In 1999, ASC began operating on the top floor of the Bolton building in downtown Raleigh.

Founded in 1999, Atlantic Staffing Consultants embarked on a mission to connect job seekers with employers. Initially, our Founder operated independently, concentrating on temporary placements and direct hires. Over time, we have transformed into a robust organization with multiple team members and offices, maintaining our headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina, and extending our regional reach across the Southeastern United States.

Our Executive Team

Chad Rassette

CEO & Founder

Chad, a native of Raleigh, NC, has been the driving force behind Atlantic Staffing for more than two decades. With a degree in Philosophy from East Carolina University, he honed his sales skills during college summers, selling books for the Varsity Internship Program under Thomas Nelson Publishing Company in the Southeastern United States. Inspired by both his sales acumen and familial ties to the staffing industry, Chad founded Atlantic Staffing in Raleigh in 1999, transforming it from a local venture to a regional powerhouse, now serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

His secret to success lies in the art of fostering enduring relationships. Chad attributes the growth of Atlantic Staffing to the invaluable bonds cultivated with clients and employees alike. Beyond his professional pursuits, Chad’s passions include active outdoor activities like mountain biking, snowboarding, paddle boarding, and boating. For over two decades, he has been involved in Bible Study Fellowship and has served on the Administrative Leadership Team. He also finds joy in the rhythms of live music and the thrill of Carolina Hurricanes hockey games, yet his greatest love remains spending quality time with his family.

Martin Straley

Vice President

Martin joined ASC in 2022 and currently serves as the organization’s Vice President. He boasts an impressive professional background, holding the titles of Senior Professional in Human Resources (HRCI) and Certified Physician-Provider Recruitment Professional (AAPPR).

Martin’s career spans the aviation, healthcare, and technology industries, where he has demonstrated his expertise in various operational and human resources capacities, working with a broad spectrum of entities, from pioneering startups to established corporations.

He has a unique vision for the role of human resources, seeing it as a catalyst for growth and innovation within organizations rather than merely an administrative function. Martin is equally dedicated to assisting individuals in achieving their career objectives through continuous learning and development. His enthusiasm for collaborating with ASC’s candidates, clients, and staff reflects his commitment to forging strong and enduring partnerships.

Outside of his professional life, Martin is an avid traveler. His travels have taken him far and wide in the US, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, and Europe. He has an insatiable curiosity, taking pleasure in acquiring knowledge on diverse topics, no matter how seemingly trivial. He values quality time spent with friends and family.
